Life seems to continuously bring us conflict, elevate anxiety, and wreak havoc on our mindscapes. But, there is a way to escape it all: through a carefully crafted gratitude meditation. This particular practice has long been the balm on the weary soul of students, and this meditation will bring light and joy to your heart. Note: The music portion contains the chant, Gam gam gam ganapataye namaha, Ganesha Sharanam. This chant invokes Ganesh, remover of obstacles.

Everyone is experiencing elevated stress, anxiety, and even loneliness and depression at this time. It’s just part of what’s happening in the world with the pandemic and the uncertainty. One of the foundations of a positive mind, an uplifted outlook and relief of stress is the simple feeling of gratitude. Gratitude is something we hear a lot about in spiritual circles, and we talk about it often in yoga. So this meditation specifically helps you cultivate an attitude of gratitude, which is at the heart of all positive human emotion.
